Hey Jackson and Team,

I have been getting messages from multiple users of XBA stating they cannot enter the XBox America Forum at all. I have tried to tell them to clear cookies, cache on both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I have then told them to reboot and to also run a simple spyware scan thinking it could have been their systems.

Obviously too many people have messaged me and I am thinking it is the servers.

It is giving the Server Not Found error and some have said that it has also given them a Website Not Found error.

Hopefully this can be remedied.

I've submitted a ticket with the company that hosts my vps. I also rebooted the server hoping it'll fix it, so check back with them to see if it worked.

Yeah, I've been getting this each time I tried to come on. I have no idea what it means, but from my understanding its the DNS, cuz I looked some shit up and fixed it, for now anyway.

What I did was went to control panel>Network connections>right clicked on my connection that I use>properties>scroll all the way down to internet protocol, then properties>use the following DNS server addresses and I put it 208.67.222.222 in the first one and the second one I used 208.67.220.220.

It works now so I guess I did something right. And like you suggested to the other people, I also cleared everything, ran a check, restarted, all that. But this one works for me, I dunno if its permanent or not but whatever. Now watch me end up getting a shitload of errors from this :(

Okay, I've got a response from my host. I'm not sure why this suddenly caused problems, but apparently there were discrepancies in the DNS nameservers. This one is definitely my fault. I remember debating which domain to use for the nameserver when we first transferred over to the new server. I think I switched a few days in and some left over records I forgot to update caused the problem.

It should be fixed now.

It might take a little while for the DNS update to propagate. He should try clearing his cache again.
