Rock Band 2 frustrations

To get straight to the point; although it may seem laughable;

The song "Rock 'N Me" I'm not sure what the problem is but I keep failing it on guitar and drums! It appears shortly after the intro, beginning with the lyrics. I'm playing on Medium and none of my fret "crashes" are registering, it seems. The same goes for the drums in about the same area.

I don't get it.

My guitar and drums are calibrated fine. I loaded up similar tier songs; "Don't Fear the Reaper, Blackened, Highway Star, and Working Man" in a setlist and got over 95% in these songs.

I truly believe that this must be some kind of technical issue. Not too brag, but I've been playing Medium since RB1's release and have NEVER failed a Medium song with the guitar yet.

Plus, I can't DL and new songs from Red Hot Chili Peppers either.

jk. I don't know what the chart looks like on medium, as i only play on expert, but on expert it works just fine. I think i gold stared it, not sure. It might be a technical bug just on the medium chart, try playing it on easy or hard if your up to it and see about that.

And the reason you can't download the Chili album is because live was down and they're still recovering from it.

Well idk about guitar but yesterday i dont remember what song but for some reason my drum hits werent registering correctly on expert, but on all other songs it worked fine.

Well playing on Easy would be fine, but, it may come up again on a Mystery Setlist when I'm playing on Medium and come back and bite me in the booty.

Okay, today....

I went ahead and beat "Rock 'N Me" using the bass mode during the song; this opened up the option to practice it to see if I was doing something wrong.

After switching from the fender to the GH2 Gibson, I finally finished a practice session of 91% on Medium difficulty. However, I noticed that the long streams that I was missing before I was hitting now using an UP strum.

That figures; so this tells me I may be in need of new equipment very soon.

I must say, as much as I do like this song; it's very unforgiving in the game
