Microsoft revealed that "Games On Demand" will allow players to purchase complete, retail Xbox 360 games through the Xbox Live Marketplace. This will include games like Mass Effect, Bioshock and Assassins Creed. This is an interesting development for Xbox Live as we could see certain full retail titles be only available digitally, or a game like Halo might have a map you only get by downloading it digitally. They're not talking a whole lot about it right now, but moving forward we could see this dramatically changing how we buy "retail" titles.
