Stats- Brett Favre
Rings/wins- Tom Brady
Clutch- Joe Montana
Longevity- Elway or Manning.

You're more delusional than the average Browns fan. LoL!

How the fuck can "all-time" only go back the last 20 years. Study up on your football history and get back to us.

Favre is the best quaterback in the history of the game. the only problem is he dosent know when to quit, he is ruining his legacy. rich gannon got out at the perfect time, he won mvp, had a trip to the super bowl and left. same with elway who had two super bowl rings and called it quits. Favre deserves better than what he's doing to himself. it wouldve been nice to see him play another 2 years with the pack and then retire a legend, than see him play for the jets and the vikings after retiring 6 or 7 times...
Hell, I'm not even gonna talk about the legends from the 70s and before... But Marino, Elway, Young, Montana, and Manning would like to talk to you. I might get shit for throwing Peyton in there but he's better than Favre.

well with all this talk about marino maybe i should throw this out there. i have an autographed pic of marino that i got in elementary school. we had an assignment to write a letter to someone famous and i picked him and he sent me his autograph. its not it perfect shape but it is authentic. if someone would like it id me more than willing to trade it for a game. ill post a pic up on here tomorrow. if anyone is interested let me kno.

it's called the evolution of the game. look at the numbers, watch the games. the qbs in the last 15 years have been better than ever before, the player keep getting better. i'm sorry if you're stuck in a dream world watching bart star or joe namath play, but they couldnt last a decade in TODAYS game. it's not the same football anymore. its more demanding of talent. hell alot of the guys from the old AFL league had second and thrid jobs, they werent real players. tom brady could own warren moon or troy aikman. sorry to break your hearts but this aint the the same game your grand pappy used to watch. these players today are amazing.

oh I totally agree, its more a pussy sport now, flag for this, flag for that, when i started watching NFL football in 1975, you weren't down till you stopped moving. Now you touch someones ass cheek and you are down by contact. The No Fun League (NFL) seems to have got worse and worse each year. Even tho I still watch every Sunday I still can't believe some of the penalty's I see called.

Pretty soon you'll have to pull a flag off the QB and any kind of contact will be an automatic first down. I mean, damn, just in recent years they've added the rule where you have to hit the quarterback in between the waist and shoulders. Now if you're blocking you have to hit below the shoulders. Goodell sucks.

Wow, well not that I'm surprised. Just hope that when they play the Packers. He gets intercepted 3 times, and Rodgers throws a few TD's against them. So than he can hopefully stop this retire/unretire shit.
Will add the Browns thing above was funny..

I like what Mark Schlereth has to say about this. I can't wait to see favre and the vikes crash and burn after this.
