Treyarch just released a new multiplayer map for CoD: World at War, a daytime version of Makin. Want to know the best part? It's absolutely free! I haven't seen any links to it from the game marketplace, just pop in the disc and look under the game details from the dashboard.

If any of you Downloaded the Makin Bonus Map and have not received the Title Update, you need to clear your cache - or you'll be waiting a few hours to play it.

To clear your cache:

* Go to the Xbox Dashboard, select the System Settings, and select Memory.
* Highlight the HD symbol and press Y.
* Press X, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X, X.

See you on the Battlefield!!!

it is more than just that, there are new fences, and some of the buildings are different. I think it will be another fun way to shank another person on the battlefield

For the record, it's not a pond... it's the ocean. They didn't drain it, that's supposed to represent low tide; high tide at night and low tide during the day. :p

I enjoy the new map and I'm actually surprised that Treyarch gave us something we didn't have to pay for.

still think treyarch is kinda lazy at making games in stuff. they made a ww2 game (easiest type to make, theres millions of em) used cod4 engine (cause they dont wanna make their own) and made a new map (that was just one of the original maps in the daytime w/ like, 5-6 changes...) atleast when they release their DLC itll be something original -_- but meh, i like that theyve done SOMETHING for their fans. the update supposedly fix alot of the elevator glitches and under the map glitches
