Madden NFL 10???

Ok EA officially announced the next Madden is gonna be called Madden NFL 10. It sounds incredibly stupid to me, why not just call it Madden 2010? Or at the very least Madden NFL 10'.

It makes it sound like this is the tenth Madden and it is the 21rst Madden.

Does this bother anyone else?

On another note this years Madden has new feature, "Situational Awareness" They haven't went into exactly what that means. Maybe they will brace for big hits or something? Or maybe for once they will knoww the game is over when the quaterback kneels with less than 40 seconds left on the clock, that always bugged me.

well it doesn't sound good being called Madden 10 (plus its not the 10th its like the 21st) all the other years have worked cause its been 09 08 07 06 even 98 97 worked well too. But saying madden 10 is stupid so yes i agree its stupid

Yeah it sounds retarded, but hopefully the game wont be broken like 09 was. 09 was filled with bugs and glitches that pissed me off. I was one of the few people that actually played a straight up sim game online. Everyone i played had some way of "cheesing."

There is going to be some new features for Madden 10

For sure dude, its pathetic what some people will do to get a win. I never play anyone that picks the Pats...the bombs to Moss are just horrible to sit and watch. I've played people that quit after their first drive just because i picked them off -_-
