i loose my streak all the time because i go away somewhere where i have no internet access. i don't really care. the longest streak i think i've ever had was 50 something days. and you don't see me complaining about it...

Maybe you should just PM him instead of hoping he'll peruse this thread and see your post...

Ok, I always leave my computer on and have not closed this site out since I've started the login streak award, but it was revoked. This makes no sense to me, because I have not been logged out, and did not have to log back in when refreshing the weekly competition page.
What's the deal?

Have you been refreshing the weekly comp page every day? Because it doesn't matter if you have the site in a tab for days in a row, you have to refresh the page at least once a day so the streak counter in the top right corner changes.

You are automatically logged out of the site after 25 minutes of inactivity.
So, you can leave the tab open all day but if you don't refresh it or click on a link you will not retain your login streak. Sorry.

If you remember to refresh, you will reach this someday:
Welcome back PureEvil x21
Your last visit was Today 7:25 pm.
You've logged in every day for the past 489 days.
An Internet phone helps too.

Actually, I haven't logged myself back in for 26 days now, and I have been refreshing multiple times everyday.
So the whole 25 minutes of inactivity doesn't make any sense?

I don't know then, maybe you have some sort of browser issue. The other way to keep your streak is to just open up the site each day. Keeping a tab open won't do it.
I also don't know why the 25 minutes is there, a guess would be to prevent the "who's online" from being ridiculously full all the time.

I wasn't questioning the 25 minute inactivity, I was just saying that it doesn't do that for me. Not complaining, that would be a bit annoying, but it doesn't.
