Halo 3 or COD 4?

sorry if there's already one about this but i'm new here and was just wondering. Halo 3 of Call Of Duty 4? which is better and why.

Do you want opinions because you've never played either and want to know which to buy or just taking a general poll?

Personally I'm not a very big fan of the Halo 3 matchmaking but I do rather enjoy the campaign (especially with friends). The multiplayer just doesn't seem like it takes very much skill in my opinion and everyone is jumping around like idiots. Plus the ranking system makes absolutely no sense... I've won 16 games in a row before with no rank up but as soon as I lost I went down two levels... that was all it took for me to quit that game for good.

What I like about COD4 is pretty much everything... the only parts of that game I dislike are other people trying to ruin my good time by exploiting the game in any way they can by either getting outside of the map, using modded controllers, or jumping around like Halo idiots. The game requires a fair amount of skill to perform well in both the multiplayer and single player story, both of which are top notch.

i appreciate your reply and yes i was just wondering who likes what. pole style. i do agree with you on the halo 3 ranking system. the thing i like most about cod 4 is that you're always progressing through your ranks. even if you have a terrible game you still get positive exp. not a huge fan of either campaign but whatever. i personally pick halo 3 most of the time because you can usually just jump on in and not have to worry about skill (i know a lot of people will hate that, and it really is frustrating to deal with) but i find that with cod 4 you really have to be into it or you'll suck at it. both games are fantastic but it feels like the cod 4 douchebags are just a little douchier. halo 3 for me

HALO3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THT GAME.
call of duty 4 is really good though also but i'm just a bigger fan of halo

I hate that, on the rare occasion I play halo (Lets just keep on adding achievements forever to force me on that game...)i get matched with people who I believe do horrible and I barely ever play that game. Leaves someone wondering How the @!%@ are you that bad!?

COD4 is better - it's more fun and balanced. It isn't a race to the power weapons and it doesn't take emptying a clip into someone to kill them.

i kinda do to but cod4 has a more adult group of online players i dont ever use my headsetwhile playing halo dont wanna here little kids being vulgar so if you have kids who play halo tell them to shut the fuck up lol

so much more random things can happen in halo 3, like how fun is it to splater someone with a Cone after throwing a nade from the grave? And a triple kill one headshot? Ninja triple kill FTW? you cant beat that

CoD is better than Gaylo in my book. I've never purchased a Halo game. I have played them at a friend's and just didn't care for them.
