I've heard some negative things about the original xbox 360 wireless headset. I've considered getting the Halo 3 version because of rumors of improvements. Anyone have one? I'd like to hear someone vouch for it before I buy it.

I own one, and it's great. Sucks when you don't have it charged but other than that I find nothing wrong with it. It's better than having a cord from your face to your controller and something big and bulky on your head.

I have the original Wireless HS. I love it. After the update, back in the fall, it was fixed. SOmetimes, it loses sync .But, that's really the only complaint I have.

That's true. I had no choice but to use my wireless. My wired kept breaking. And, I was tired of spending money on one I knew would break...
I also took a huge risk. Seeing as the wired had JUST come out. And, it was so bad when it did. -.-;
But, now, I love my wireless headset. I call it "Wirely" and, it's cute.

My first headset still works but the head thing is all lose so i switched it out for the one that came with the vision cam!

My headset that came with the 360 broke in like a month or shorter timing. It was horrible, so I was like f this and I went and bought a wireless headset.

ive went thro like 5 in the past 2 months
first i had the default wired one the head part snapped
got a wireless lasted about 2 weeks
then got a normal phone one lasted like 4 days
got a diff wired 360 one lasted like 1 week
then got a nother phone one like 3 days ago and its already buggin out
lol

My wireless headset is wonderful. I can't believe how good it's been, I usually charge it ever 3 days and I'm careful with it, I don't know why you've had so many problems.

Well i play A LOT of games mostly gears n halo,, gears most of the time tho and i usually play 8 - 12 hours a day no lie i have no life

i have a halo 3 wireless and so does a friend of mine down the road i like it exccept when it dies b/c i never charge stuff and kids say they cant hear me so i have to speak louder so i would say get it but have a wired headset for when it dies
