Hey guys. I have a question would anyone know why my monitors back light keeps shutting off completely (im using a gay secondary monitor now) but it started last night when i was browsing files on bungie.net. it is not going into power save mode either cus i can barley see the screen when it does it. its a Dell S199WFP monitor. i tried calling them but now they are all like oh your warranty expired would you like to pay for service and im like F*** THAT!! so the computer hung up on me

i think i have figured out that my back-light inverter is bad but i dont know if i can replace it cheap or have to get a new monitor

I dont know if this will help but I had a similar problem, and what i did to fix it was just squeeze the left outside of the monitor. I eventually just had to get a new one but it might help.
