Once again, I think they should have waited and seen how the first film did before already announcing a trilogy; while it would be awesome if the movie was good, I will go with the assumption that its going to be bad until I hear otherwise.
Don't get me wrong; I would love for it to be decent. However, going by the track record of games turned into films, I don't have high hopes.

Wiseman also admitted he has never played gears 1 or 2 and is terrible at video games. This could get ugly.
