Some games are WAAAY over priced. So some are okay to buy. But to be honest...i like to own physical copies.

Well.. If it's priced nice then yes.. There are many pros to it.. 1. it's better for the environment with no packaging and case and disc.. 2. it saves space in your home and.. it's digital!
Some cons are the feeling that someone may take it away from you.. because you can't hold it.. But that's not gonna happen and people enjoy owning the physical items, which doesn't make any difference in my opinion.. A game is a game.

I bought my first game on demand recently (mass effect). I like the fact that it encourages my inherent laziness by allowing me to play a full-length game withouy having to get off the couch and put a disc in.

I think the majority of these games are overpriced! If they were decently priced, and I had a 250 gb hd, I'd buy some though. I don't really care about having a physical disk.
Im just weird/cool like that

I wont buy any games on demand until it is the ONLY way to buy a full on game. (meaning when digital downloads take over physical media entirely, which we are quite away from)
My reasons are...
- MS charges up the poopshoot for GB storage, heaven forbid if I wanted a terabyte drive. Oh, and since they use a HD that only works on the xbox, cant buy a cheaper PC one and swap it.
- I cant imagine the online systems when millions of people try to download a game at launch.
- NO RESELL VALUE ! Imagine a world where you can't trade in games to buy a new one. At 65 bucks a pop (with tax), you have to be DAMN sure the game is going to rock. I'd pick up a lot less games (and thus, buy a lot less DLC) if I could only buy new.
Plus, I also like the disc in my hand. What if my HD crashes or some wierd bug hits it? Time to redownload a game collection.
I might just be wierd though.

I won't buy them.
First, I refuse to fall into the MS trap that makes us buy more and more HD space at absolutely ridiculous rates. Good God. I can buy a portable hard drive for like 30 bucks that has like 5 times more space. But nooooooo, we can't use that. MS products only!
Second, MS equipment (which we are forced to use) is crappy. I'm on my third xbox and 2nd harddrive. Everytime one goes down, you have to redownload everything. On top of that, the redownloading crap never works for me. For some reason, it never shows I've purchased it and it wants me to pay up all over again just to redownload. See #3.
Third, MS customer service sucks. If you do have a problem, it takes 4 years to be able to actually get someone on the phone that speaks English and even understands that you have a problem in the first place. Don't hold your breath that they can fix it, though.
Fourth, the prices are absolutely ridiculous. I can usually buy a new or used copy of the game for half the price they have it listed for.
And fifth, I can trade or sell my hardcopy copies of games. Can't do that with a digital version.
Until they can get their heads out of their butts and make the pricing realistic and actually do what they say they are going to do, I REFUSE to buy a digital download of a game.
