I love to game and I am curious if anyone has any advice on game renting.

I don't like purchasing because I usually don't replay a lot of my games except the ones I love (bioshock, dead rising, etc).

I can probably play through two games a month.

Any other alternatives? that one I have researched before and is a little up there for the amount I would be renting.

if you rent at blockbuster you can try their game pass for a month, if you do it online i'm sure when you are done you can return the game there and get a new one while you wait for the mail to come

if you have a movie gallery or a hollywood video you can use the diamond card that xbox provides, there you get to rent a game and get one free

i don't know if that helps (this is just if you don't want to do gamefly or those other ones online)

I'd echo this. Is there nowhere in your area as an alternative? Like maybe an independent video store or the like? I'm actually lucky in the fact that we have a pretty cool small chain around here that let's you pay $10 and you get 50% off all movie/game rentals for a month. They also get their games on release day, so it's usually not a problem getting anything I'm looking for. Can't beat $3 for a game for 5 days. :D

I work at Blockbuster and I would totally go with them except that where I'm moving to doesn't have one.

Its more about the length of time I get the game. I need about two weeks to fully play the game through and get most of the achievements.

Well Gamefly is probably best just because of the amount of titles, but in my opinion not worth the price. I had from June to like, November or December last year and I finally got pissed off and canceled because they sent me games I didn't even have in my Q and it took about 5 days to get a game and send it back.

if you only can play about two games then a game pass is not needed, just rent two games a month at full price.......

if you want fast achievements then i'd gamefly or get a game pass for like a month or two to get all the easy game achievement points

I ordered it also and what I did was ordered Spiderman Web of shadows and Dead Space and only had those games in my queue. Does it tell you anywhere that they've been shipped or anything?

They should email you and say they've shipped a game.

I have a 10 day trial and I ordered it on Sunday. It's Wednesday now and I haven't received an e-mail yet.
