GTA4 Saving Cars

Is there seriously no way of saving cars in GTA IV? In Saints Row you could drive them into one of your garages and then the next time you went there, you'd have your car. I'm just a little shocked. Right now I'm using my two reserved car spots to house a police car and that comet car Brucie gave me. Whenever I want just some random car to drive around, I have to steal one and it's a little annoying.

The cars are such an important part of the game and it'd be sick to be able to have some of my own.

nope no way to save cars other than the reserved parking spots.

It was more of a venting than a question. It's my biggest, and just about only, gripe with the game.

I wonder when you finish the car collection sub mission if you get to go to that garage and select one of the vehicles. I am about 1/3 the way finished with them now. I'll let you know how it goes.

I really wish you could have a house with a damn garage!!! I keep a couple sweet rides in the "save" spot and usually jack a car for missions. I was hoping towards the end of the game you would actually get a house instead of those stupid/shit hole studio apartments.

yea i knw what u mean.
im getting sick and tired of not finding a car i want.
its like when ur on a mission and need a cop car....and u cant find one.
but the moment u hit a pedestrian theres instantly one next to u.

I really liked how in Saints Row you had multiple houses with garages. You could save cars in the garages, and get them repaired there too. Video games aren't supposed to be realistic. Just fun.

the first mission i needed one. it came to me.
literally they came pulled over and got out walked away.

On a side note, if you use the health and weapons cheat while you are driving it repairs your vehicles! I crashed a helicopter in my front of my house, reaired it, and saved it in my parking spot.

This has been around since like... GTA2. =/

in the other gtas your houses had garages and you could save them exactly how you described here i just didn't know that they didn't do that in this version

there is a way to save your cars you just park it out side your safe out in the yellow box you see by the sidewalk.
