Well does it?

Ok, this thread actually has a point. I was gonna work on the insane campaign of Gears 1 but it says I don't have a checkpoint saved when I go to load it. I checked the hard drive and I've got a Gears checkpoint saved, but it still isn't working. Anyone know how to fix this shit?
