Does anyone remember that time a few years ago (might have been back during the Hargrove days) when the Mariners were playing at the Jake, and Lou Pinella put on a show after he got thrown out? He started kicking his hat all over the infield for about 20 minutes...that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.
That being said, I kind of wish Wedge would have done something like that yesterday, just because at least it would have given us something to enjoy while watching that embarassment of a game...
The call yesterday to toss Guthrie might have been the worst call that I've ever seen. The Indians should complain to the comissioner, or whoever takes care of these things, and get that umpire taken care of. As far as I'm concerned, any umpire that incompetent deserves to lose his job over a call like that.
