Alright so for the past month or so my disk drive would be getting suck and wouldnt open. But usually with a little tap it would open right up, but yesterday it took a few more harder hits. Anyone else have this problem or know how i can fix this?

I have the same problem. Mine gets stuck and I have to give it a tap just like you. It happens when I try and open it as well as when I try to close it. I'm not sure how to fix it and havent called Microsoft yet.

Yea i figured its not that big of problem yet, the xbox is still running fine. Mine hasnt got to the point where it gets stuck when i want it to close though

Does your Xbox Stand Vertically or do you keep it laying down horizontally. I believe this has something to do with the issue. I keep my Xbox laying down. (so my damn cats don't knock it over)

i have that problem but here is how it is. it will open and shut fine if there is a gmae inside but if it is empty it will get stuck and i have to slide a credit card or sumthing in the side to make it open but yeah i fell ya it sucks just thinking something is wrong woth your 360

same thing happends to me,when there is a game in the tray it opens and closes fine but when there isnt a game its jammed and i have to punch my 360 to open lol not punch but something small to get between the disk tray to open

This is my 3rd box. My 1st one the disk stop reading and now its kinda doing it again hopefully it will be fine, fingers are crossed here.
