Death of a Car

So, how about i went to see Beerfest with some of my friends tonight, amazing movie, and when i go out to my car (my moms because she told me to take hers) it wouldnt start at all. No turning over, not even attempting to do anything. I was there for 30 mins before i decided to call my house, once i did my dad came down and we couldnt get it started, jumped it and it would turn over and then immediatly die. So then we hit the starter with a hammer, and then cranked it again, it turned on, but unless you kept the rpms up it would die, so then we decided to go to drop off the car at a mechanic, which ment my dad would drive it and not stop, or stop and hold the break while tapping the gas. So we went to go fill up my dads car, the one im driving and following my dad in, and my dad says the car is able to stay on by itself, so we put starter cleaner fluid in the car and drove around the highways to make sure the car wouldnt die. So i jsut got home, and it seems the car is working now. man...what an eventful night. I almost had to give up my car tomorrow so my parents could both get to work and then i would have nothing to ride in tomorrow while i do errands!!!!
