Good news for Call Of Duty fans who weren't able to get into the initial beta of World At War; the COD:W@W Beta is now open to all Xbox Live members! It is up now for download through the Xbox Live Marketplace. I might just check this out before I go get my midnight copy of Gears, but I'm pretty well set against the WWII thing. For those of you that weren't able to get in before, hop to it soldier!

The beta is actually very good in many ways, i personally thought it would be MUCH worse, knowing Treyarc and all. The fact they released it to the public and not only cod.com members is to get more feedback i think, they need as much as possible since they wanna meet the COD4 standard and beyond.
And to Teh PayPahBoi, when you hit prestige it is exactly the same as COD4 you lose everything just extra custom classes like you said.

im actually a big cod fan Teh. i just thaught the graphics were not as great and it just didn't feel right. i know it's a beta but i just didn't like it. plus alot of the people i was playing with didn't like it as well.

with it releasing like what, Tuesday? they probably want more people to play it and see if they like it, to buy it. (they will only get to play a couple days before it releases unlike you on cod.com who have been playing it for a month+)
offering the beta will bring more people to try it out and either want to buy it or not.. (with gears just coming out i don't understand why they would release it not even a week after)
