I traded COD4 in after I beat the campaign, but I still have GOW! I didn't feel that the prestige system added enough replay value to COD4 for me to keep playing. With GOW+DLC enjoying a price cut, I think that Gears is the "more bang for your buck" choice!

I would say both of them have dbags online...but I have to choose both
