Alright now I know this is old news, but it might not be old to some of you but it is to me seeing as how it happened 1 town over from the town I live in. When I first heard about this story nothing was mentioned about video games. I would really like to know how they knew he was recreating something he saw done in halo, knowing the police around here though they prolly just saw that halo was on the tv or something and thats how they ruled it.

wth?

how do you shoot yourself in the head w/ a rifle, after watching something in halo?

nobody kills themselves w/ a rifle (mainly cause the only rifle close enough is a sniper, but seriously, nobody shot themselves w/ it..) and im like 99% sure nobody has in the halo series...

yeah I just don't get how they can blame Halo of all games for this. If anyone is to blame its the parents for not locking up the gun.

I don't which is dumber the kid shooting himself in the head or the cops, for thinking video games had something to do with it.

And I don't know how they do things out there but when someone "accidentially" shoots themselves in the head it's considered suicide.

Ahh, what the hell, call it what it is, Natural Selection... Sorry for being insensitve but shi*t like this is a dime a dozen.

Did you even read the article? It was a 22 cal, how do you get a sniper rifle from that? As for the article, there isn't even a scene in Halo where you shoot yourself in the head, is there?

no..no i didnt...adolab kicked in before i even clicked it lol...

and no, there isnt a scene in like any halo game (that i know of, not 100% sure about ALL of them) that someone kill sthemselve...and w/ a rifle? no...theres no rifle close to an irl one in halo..
