Bored with Halo Game Types

Anyone else getting bored of the maps and game types already? I wouldn't be getting bored if the ranked rumble pit wasn't limited to 5 people and those few maps that are ideal for that many people. What if I want to be able to play free for all on Valhalla with snipers and shotties? Sure, I could meet up with my friends but I rather play ranked. I want to be able to play ranked matches without getting bored.

And just so people don't get confused... I love Halo 3.

ya i like lone wolves but some of the maps i don't like i love vanhalla and high ground (think thats what its called its the one map they re did from halo 2)

yea, i think they made a couple mistakes...it just gets repetitive, only 5 or 6 people in free for all matches...what happened to like 10???

i think a couple of the maps are pretty weak as well, and when theres only 9 maps and a couple arnt good and the good ones are getting boring then its very limited all of a sudden

yes agreed, there are like 11 maps total(which is a good amount) But only 6 seem to show up and only half of those are good for ranked free for all. But I found switching between team slayer and lone wolf every few games have kept me happy with the map selections.

But I have this feeling in the back of my mind that bungie will be charging us $10 in the next month or so for new maps and that just makes me really mad! I paid $130 for this game let me play the maps for a good half year before you charge me!

But for some reason in halo3 the lack of maps have not bothered me near as much as it would have in most games and I still LOVE halo. But I do hope bungies next game is a "Myth title" I love that seres and think it is bungies best game ever!

Weren't there hints that their next game was going to be a pirate game?

no that was just a joke they been playing for the last few years, it started on april fools like 5 years ago and people thought it was so funny they just kept playing along with it. So no one knows bungies next game.

Custom games has near limitless permutations - decrease your armor and shields and increase gravity, for example - try some of those...
