Modded embedded chips and pre-owned console banned from the xbox live, as long you can modding external stuff only as faceplate and cases they don't ban someome.
Don't buy the pre-owned console, it's possibility someone sold to game stores tricked on customer getting banned from the live accound that already modded inside of xbox or modded embedded chips.
