Anyone Getting Chromehounds?

hopefully my Xbox will be back from Texas (sent in for the 3 lights of death) by July 11th so I can get chromehounds...

Is anyone else on here planning on getting the game ???

Also if anyone is, anyone want to set up a in-game clan or whatever it is that you need to play the perpetual world battle ???

This game seriously sounds like a ton of fun, so if you haven't already give it a look at www.chromehounds.com

all of the previews I have seen say that the game looks really good, so I am planning on buying it. There is also a rumour abou that says we will see a marketplace demo before the game hits the stores.

Either way I have been reading the previews like non-stop and the persistant online multiplayer totally has me hooked. I have been waiting for a game like this on the 360 since it came out...

well its that day...

I plan on going to walmart later today to see if they have Chromehounds, wish me luck. To those of you who are also planning on getting this game, see you in the neriomus war!!!!

I have been reading the xbox forums today and all looks well. the game is supposedly like 1000 time better than the demo, except that the servers were down for maintenance for a while.

Unfortunately, the walmart in my town did not have the game in ( I checked on my lunch break). Now I am gonna have to wait till Thursday when the local game shop C&C gets the game in.

:( not cool, but what can you do... When I finally get it later this week, I will let you know how it is though. I would love to start a clan of xboxohio gamers that would be really cool.

Well I got my hands on a copy of the game, at lunch today. I was only able to play it for about 35 minutes so far, but that game seems good. I was only able to play some single player missions, and it seems slightly better than average for a mech based game.

The missions seem pretty straight forward, and the graphics are fine. The battlefield is sparse, however this does not bug me due to the nature of the game. The speed is not all that annoying once you actually try out various hounds and see how they actually function. I happen to prefer the simulation style speeds rather than just ultra fast mechs running around the battlefield.

I cant wait to beat all the way through the game and then build a hound and go online. Unfortunately I have to go to a wedding in youngstown this weekend, so after tonight I am only going to be able to play on sunday night.

I will post here as soon as I have a good impression of online play.

As of my first impression with this game, I woudl rate it a decent buy. Much better than a lot of the stuff that has been coming out over the last couple of months. Also the multiplayer aspects have to be better than prey, which is just boring and laggy.

Well I got online and played some matches last night. The only way to explain it is friggen awesome.

I can see someone totally getting addicted to this game for a long time. The squad stuff is cool, and being able to look through thousands of parts is kick ass.

I spent hours last night just trying out jump jets and different hover bases. This is the most in-depth online experience I have ever seen on a LIVE game and I don't think it will dissapoint.

MY SUGGESTION: get this game and get in a squad, you won't regret it. If you bought Ghost Recon for online, this game is definatly on par with its level of online play. I plan on being addicted to this game for the next month at least...

........... i hope your right man.. that post might make me go and buy it.. if i get really bored one of these days i'll go get it.. and i usually only buy games that will keep me playing online for months, with the exception of oblivion but that was just a good game altogether

well I just came home from camp and guess what my dad got me when I was there..... yep chromehounds!

its not like my dad to buy games with out me asking but he got this one. :D

well I only played training and one online game and so far I am not to happy with it, but I have only played 10 minutes, so I could be rong. I will let you guys know more tomarrow.
