We no longer have the Google Ads on XboxAmerica. They've been replaced with Amazon.com ads. Those of you who donated in the August 2006 fundraiser will continue to be able to browse ad free. The current layout of these ads is most likely temporary. I think some of them are too obtrusive, and will be replaced with more subtle ads.

Please, if you find any ads on XboxAmerica way too bothersome then an ad should be, tell me. I don't have a problem with removing ads. They help with the cost of running the site, but the site is here for you guys. If the ads are in the way, they're defeating the purpose.

Also, I made a big ad/'store', in case you're interested in buying something from Amazon. We'll get a small portion to help run the site when you buy through any link on the site.

you can enable ads for me if it makes a significant difference.. i use adblock plus on firefox and an admuncher program that gets rid of everything
