A/V PLUG NOT WORKING, HELP?

The plug on the back of my 360 is no longer working

. When i plug in the A/V cable to the back of my 360 i cant see the game. However when i go up and down on my controller i can hear the "click click" noise u get when you are going up and down.

i dont have the HDMI plug because i have an earlier version of the 360.

Is there any way to fix it? Would i have to send it to M$ or are there places that can fix this problem aside from sending it in to M$?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I mean, is it just the port? or the cord? if its just the cord...then try and track one down. They are pretty cheap

Im pretty sure its the port.
I'v borrowed 3 different cords from friends and the same thing happened with each one.

ugh fuck my life. so i guess i can say bye to my 360 for a good month or two, that and im not even sure if my 360 is still under warranty. i bought it around 9-10 months after the 360 came out

Yeah dude, that really blows ass. You never know though....M$ sometimes pull through with good service once in a while

Have you tried another cord? My friend had the same problem, if its the console you have to sned to microsoft

@deadly - yea dude i think youre gonna have to send it in to MS cause it sounds like its the port, and i doubt youll be able to get that fixed anywhere else (its possible but idk where)

hmm...i wonder if any of those techie stores (like best buy, microcenter, etc) would have another A/V port for the 360 >-> i doubt it but...its worth a look atleast, right?

Lady's 360 fell victim to this same thing. It's more than likely the video card in the 360. At best the port has become detatched from the card. At worst the card is blown. Either way, it's not covered by warranty and will cost you $100 or so to send it in. If I ever get around to cracking her 360 in half, I'll let you know how easy it is to fix.

yea thats what i wanted to check out. well hopefully it wont cost me a 100. but i HAVE to have it fixed by the time CoD MW2 comes out

lol unless u plan to do that this week evol i dont think it will do me much help, thanks tho
