A trip to endgadget shows that the new and improved 65nm 360s are beginging to slowly trickle out from production. Apparently, the first set of consoles to boast the new cooler CPU is the Halo 3 Limited Edition consoles from lot #734.

Apparently buyers of the Halo3 edition console will be Microsoft's first guineau pigs for the new chip. I am curious to see if it really prevents the Red ring problem, and if it does, how quickly Microsoft will be to ship all of the 360s with it. Only time will tell I guess.

The only time I've ever gotten the Red Rings is when my power went out and they lit up red but that's because it was shut off improperly, but I've never had a problem.

I've never had a problem either, and my 360 is a launch console, but I know more than one person who is on their 3rd and 4th consoles, so I guess it's just the luck of the draw.

I'm not blaming everyone for the red rings and all but i'm sure it has something to do with the way they have it set up or how much dust is getting into it or something, i don't know.. i clean mine once a week and leave it horizontal, i don't let it get too bad because i don't want it to quit out on me :)
