Wow, only 60%, greedy bastards. I'd rather just send that text that donates 10 bucks to Haiti.

when I saw the word chimes, I was reminded of a Steven Wright joke
"Chimes are for idiots who don't know when there's a breeze."

Lol, that's one of the most hilarious quotes I've ever seen.

The reason it is only 60% is because Microsoft takes 30% of the proceeds made from a sale of an Xbox LIVE Arcade game.
OneBigGame, Zoe Mode, Valcon Games and the musical artists that contributed to the making of this game are not receiving any profits of their own from the sales made from Chime.

you know, this game is pretty good, I bought it...but it wasn't to help support Haiti.....it was to help support my need for achievements!

Bump for a good game.
Just downloaded it yesterday. This is the kind of puzzle game I can really get into. If you liked Tetris as a kid, chances are you'll like this too. Similar concept played out in a different way.

I wanted to bump this one up one more time!
I got my MS points from the Bing rewards, so I was in the market for a 400 point game and stumbled across this in Destination Arcade. I played the Trial and decided to get it!
For those of you who don't know what it is, I would say that it is a puzzle game that crosses Tetris and Lumines. It's very addictive!
Unfortunately Aldemar took the original post with him when he flew the coop. Short but sweet, as the thread title and posters above had touched on, 60% of your five dollar purchase goes to children's charities worldwide. It's a good way to give and get at the same time. You spend a measily 400 MS points and get a great game, while helping out some of those in need! Win-win!
Oh and for all of you achievement lovers, there is a 50 point achievement that unlocks automatically the first time you load the game up! Not too shabby if you ask me!

BUMP
Sorry, but I wanted to get this up on the board one last time as I just read that the 60% to charity contract is up on December 1, 2010.
For anyone on the fence about this game, be sure to shell that 5 bucks out by the end of this month, or your achievements won't help anyone but you! :p
But seriously, this is a good game for very cheap and a chance to help some of the less fortunates out there!
