I have been looking at a lot of mod sites for new shiny cases and cooling options. Has anyone done this? What did you have done?

Seeing as how my xbox's never last longer than 1.5 years I refuse to void my warranty by doing this.

why is it everyone else keeps making new threads of threads I have already made, lol.
I plan on getting the black knight case for my 360 along with the controller shells...and re doing all the lights with some purple lights....i will be putting one of the lights inside the 360 to give it an omnimous purplish glow

actually, the ability to play burned games "modding" is actually not that hard. im not sure how to do it, but i know my dad does and so do alot of people he knows.
and im covered for a RROD (i think) if you can mod a console, you could just as easily unmod it. so if i rrod, and i dont want to get another 360, id ask my dad to unmod and id send it away but id prolly have a second 360 just in case

This...
doesnt support this statement...
And this...

Well that just sounds like WAY too much work.
Personally I havent looked into it seriously for myself on the 360 because I wouldnt want my system to get banned from live. But I found this link.

Now I havent watched the whole video. But all that looks like ALOT of work that, frankly you wont want to undo once and if your system does end up failing on you. Not that I think you could undo it. Unless someone has figured out how to make it look like their system was never opened once they put if back together. For the older systems I know you used to have to open them up and had to solder a mod chip into them then youd still have to upload and configure the bios too. While this video doesnt seem like theres any actual soldering theres still alot of work that I doubt you could just undo to send your system back to Microsoft w/o them knowing you were messing with it.
