Even though football just ended, I am already looking forward to starting it up again. So the closest thing to us is the draft, which I am extremely excited for because my Seahawks have two 1st round picks. I believe it is 6th and 14th.
So, you can post who you want your team to pick or make a complete first round mock draft.
Ill start.
Obviously, the Hawks need a better O-Line. Remember when they went to the superbowl and had a insane running game? yeah, Walter Jones at LT and Steve Hutchinson at LG made the best O-Line in the game. Thats why Alexander went off on people. I could have got 1,000 yards running behind those guys. Hasselbeck also had good numbers. People blocking= all around better team. So I definetely think the number 6 pick goes to a LT. That is such a key position. I take......
RUSSELL OKUNG
Then with the 14th pick I say upgrade the RB position.
CJ SPILLER
also since they have a early 2nd round pick....maybe a QB? If bradford or mccoy are still around.

I hope CJ goes somewhere that he can shine. Not a dumb team when he's the best player, but they still don't win. Steven Jackson and the Rams for example.

Bradford will be the 4th pick in my opinion, going to the Skins, so take that out your future.
You have a good chance on McCoy since someone will go for Clausen over McCoy, in my opnion that is.
Whoever Tebow goes to, they better be ready to move him to FB or TE, because there's no way he's set for a NFL QB.
My team believe it or not, is the Saints. (No I'm not a bandwagoner, born and raised in Louisiana, loved them back when we had Aaron Brooks)
What we need the most right now would be more for our DL, that or our LB position, because Shanle isn't cutting it for us right now.
I wouldn't mind a trade for a new RB either, I want Bush out of here, ASAP.

I had a nightmare in which the Browns traded Brady Quinn and Jerome Harrison to move up to get Tim Tebow! Yikes! Dreams are funny, because nobody is trading up to get Tim Tebow! lol
Back to reality. The Browns won their final 4 games to effectively dash all hopes of picking up a Quarterback. At least one they can call their future, i.e. Claussen or Bradford. I'm not saying there won't be a "diamond in the rough," but these two look to be it as far as face of the franchise type QBs.
The Browns need a lot, as is normally the case with teams drafting in the top 10. Assuming the Skins take Bradford and Claussen is gone, (most likely taken first due to Sam Bradford's shoulder raising questions) the Browns will address their secondary first with an opportunity to get either Eric Berry at Safety or Joe Haden at cornerback depending on who is left by the 7th pick.
Either way, the Browns add another piece, but will remain in a state of rebuilding for at least 2 more years. They should change their name to the Cleveland There's Always Next Years! lol

Something tells me a trade between Clevland and Oakland involving Jamarcus Russell headed North is in the works.
I'd kill myself.
I don't see that happening. Russell doesn't fit the Browns plans. If they get a quarterback, it will be a franchise quarterback and Brady Quinn is a far more suitable franchise QB than Russell. Also a 7 to 8 trade seems unlikely when the Chiefs at 5th pick seem like they would be willing to trade down as long as they can stay in the top 10.

I've seen in some mock drafts that the Rams might take a QB (Mccoy) and that leaves The Beast left on the board for the Lions to take. Sue from Nebraska of course! After pick #2 I don't really care what happens. LOL
I think there's a good chance that could happen as long as the Rams don't trade down. I doubt McCoy will go first though.

I agree. Bradford would have to take a huge step backwards to be considered after McCoy. The QB situation in the NFL right now leaves little need for anyone to rush out and get a QB. I see McCoy as the 3rd QB this year, unless Bradford can't get it together for the combine. That puts Colt McCoy going in the 2nd round barring a trade, but it doesn't seem like anyone will need to trade up to get him.
