MW2 Unlimited ammo update

Infinity ward has been deluged by complaints of the unlimited ammo glitch in MW2, and is currently working on a fix for this.

The bug, spotted by increasing numbers of gamers on forums , breaks ammo counters and in some cases removes them entirely, which means UNLIMITED AMMO.!!

Robert Bowling, which is the developers community liason stated the following this morning. "Yes, it'll be eliminated soon enough"

Apparently, this originates from modded consoles, but can spread to non-tampered machines while playing online. The bug manifests differently for morally correct gamers, however, they will have to reboot their machine and clear the cache to rid themselves of the glitch.

So, just prepare for another update!!

People were doing this last night, somehow my box caught the glitch and was infected. All the games I played and was host in it seemed to take effect.

While the glitch does suck, it's slightly enjoyable for 5 minutes. Infinity Noob Tube Anyone? haha. The glitched games I was in seemed like desolate war-zones with everyone running around with marathon/lightweight and infinity noob-tubing or rocket-launching, infinite sniping - it gets pretty messy but can be fun for a match or so.

What does grind my gears is the fact that I worked my ass off for my level and rank and people out there are doing insane stuff to cheat it. Yeah it's expected but not on this rampant of a level.

Yeah, it's funny for only about a minute...things like this make the game unenjoyable for us less-than-stellar players who don't get many kills in the first place.

I was in one of these today for the first time, I left after about 2 minutes because all the people do is shoot off their grenade launchers. Its really not even that fun.

I hope im not the only one, but all these hackers on this game is starting to make me pissed. First, i get on today, and i join a ground war domination at rust. First, i got XP, no score liimit, but there was a time limit??, then my bro gets on and gets the unlimited ammno crap.

And i was looking at the leaderboards, the guy in first hacked is way up, and now is selling 10 presiges for 100$ and that symbol isisint a real symbol to!?

I am really thinking about going back to COD4 because at least its fair now

Im trying to play headquarters and literally every other game has the unlimited ammo shit. And like Sean said, when someone gets the AC130 its ridiculous. I really hope IW gets their heads out of their asses and actually does something about this.
