The Creators of Mass Effect 2 have publicly stated that any downloadable content made for Mass Effect 2 will be free on launch day. This open statement comes after recent rumors from Norwegian newspaper DagBladet seen on Joystiq.com. Bioware's Twitter account titled "Biofeed" posted this today "Addressing rumors: Bioware will not be charging extra for any new Mass Effect 2 content on launch day. More DLC details next week." The rumor states that DLC will be available on launch day or the few days after and will include "armor and weapons will be available, but also other things, such as an unlockable planet and even a new ally by the name of Zaeed Messani"
Guess we'll all just have to wait until Jan. 26th when Mass Effect 2 hits store shelves near you.
