Xbox Live microtransactions a possibility

Over at gametrailers.com is a story about how after the new 360 experience is launched if you wish to upgrade the look of your avatar it may cost money via the microtransactions to buy new clothes. Now you all know my feeling on this waste of an update, and this all but cements my hate for it.

theyre going to make you pay for your cloths? man..it better be like 10Gs an item, and like 50Gs for a full avatar change (shirt, maybe jacket, pants, shoes, and one accesory)

This is why I won't be using an avatar. I have gamerpictures that I PAID for. If I wanted to dress up a lame looking Wii Like avatar I would play the Sims and Animal Crossing. Microsoft is making a big mistake and really risks pissing off its "hardcore" memberbase.

Hahahahaha.........This whole avatar thing could turn out to be addictive for a lot of people. I'm sure thats what MS is hoping anyway. I mean I've spent several hours playing Soul Caliber 4 making custom Characters of almost everyone on this site.....ooooops!!! I wasn't supposed to let that slip. Cap I finished yours last night along with Minitaco's. I have Rev's yet to do because I havn't unlocked enough sick or twisted Armor yet.

Yeah seriously....everyone is bitching about the avatars (in which they are very good complaints im not saying they are) it's just, that we are still able to use gamerpictures so I dont see what the big deal is...just dont use the avatar

me however...if I can pop my virtual collar.....im sold to the idea :)...lol

i'll probably pimp mine out with a nice sport coat or suit :)
