Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack Goes Free,,,

Confirmed in Bungie's Weekly Update today, was the long awaited news of the "Free" tag for the Heroic Map Pack.


Unattributed Quote:


Aside from the April 15th date meaning more new maps coming to Halo 3, it also means the Heroic Maps are going to be free as of March 25th at 2 a.m. Pacific. Remember, as of the April playlist update, the Free Heroic Maps will be required in Ranked Big Team, Social Big Team, Team Slayer and Rocket Race playlists.



This Tuesday, March 25th; the maps will be free to download for everyone. Unless of course you already purchased them.

Now only if other companies would follow suit and release FREE DLC. Though in most cases I am sure that MS is the one that is forcing players to pay for things as trivial as Horse Armor (oblivion).

Actually, paying for that stuff wasn't MS, it was Bethesda behind it. I say this because when the DLC first came out (For the PC version of Oblivion) you had to pay for it, and then the DLC went to the Live Marketplace, where you still had to pay for it. >.>
