Well I noticed a shortage of Splash Damage's (published by Bethesda also, how could it be bad?) new upcoming game, Brink. I personally think this game looks amazing.. The graphics, the engine, the gameplay.
The game also promises to link single player to multiplayer. If they deliver on that promise, which many games have attempted to fulfill (I'm looking at you Rainbow Six Vegas 2), I'm sure this game will turn out to be a must buy for anyone that has any interest in the FPS genre. The story mode will be playable with 8 bots or 8 people online, which I have no idea how it will work, but if it clicks, it'll click!
The S.M.A.R.T. (Smooth Movement Over Random Terrain) system looks to completely change the game. It almost mirrors Mirror's Edge (yes, a pun.. I know!). From the smooth animations to the fast climbing over obstacles, we'll be seeing little noobies climbing over towers in no time!
The player customization looks promising too. It's like any customizable RPG.. but in a shooter! I suppose I've always wanted to create a little midget or a as thin as a twig type fellow who runs around with a minigun obliterating people twice his size.

With all of the games coming out this year, if this game follows up with what they're saying, I'd say it could be quite a contender for game of the year. Sadly not too much information has been released quite yet. So now it's time for the waiting game!
