Some of you may or may not have noticed, but recently, a few games were leaked out before their official release dates: Super Street Fighter IV, Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption. This brought up the topic to my mind: What are everyone's views on games that are either leaked or broke street date. Whether it be an accidental release, or a store who wants to rake in some quick sales. Do you think it's right? Do you think store managers/workers should be penalized for it?
Obviously, I'm sure the majority of you are for this kind of stuff so you can get the games you want as soon as you want lol. But does anyone here actually stand on the other side of the fence on this issue? Does anyone think that it is unfair or unjust that games sometimes get leaked and the lucky few who get their hands on it get a head start of everyone else?
I personally don't mind for games that break street date or leaked out ahead of time since it's rare that I ever buy games on release days anyways. Although I think it's unfair for developers who set an exact date for the release of their games and somehow it gets released beforehand...
