Achievement Help Thread

We all need help with achievements sometimes don't we? You try following a guide (or there isn't a guide) and you still can't get that achievement to pop?

Well here's the answer for you. Instead of numerous threads about different achievements being created I figured this would be a good solution. Simply post a question/problem you are having with an achievement and the community will try to answer.

This way anyone can get the help they need without worry about flaming for thread creation. Basically the only "rule" I would ask to be followed is not to harass anyone in this thread about asking a question that has been asked previously. Hopefully the thread will get too long for someone to search through for a single question and it should be easy to answer the same question a second time!

I also think it would be beneficial for those who have the achievement to post an answer. I have found x360a.org and TA.com to not always have the correct, or best solution on how to obtain an achievement (though referencing them is perfectly fine).

I will spend as much time answering questions I can about achievements since I have so darn many :laugh:

Not trying to step on the toes of the boosting thread. More just a Q/A thread for how to obtain certain acheivements.

......and if people do make threads, they could always be referenced here and I'll clean up later

It is going to be useful, because I'm going to ask the first question.

I am stuck on finishing up the single player challenges on Worms HD. Any tips on how to get past challenge #13?

holy crap! i've been stuck on that game forever too. the only recommendation i've ever heard that MIGHT work, is take the blowtorch and build a tunnel going as for off in one direction as possible. then just keep skipping your turn, and MAYBE the AI will eventually kill themselves, or sudden death with if they don't kill you before then.

Well the way to supposedly do it is to use the girders to allow your worm to go to the top right (via teleport) and then blowtorch UP to the top of the map. Then you try to kill the other worms with the remaining worm and wait until time runs out. Eventually all the other worms will drown and you will win.

I actually just killed all the other worms myself, took several tries

From what I understand Durtie you have to beat all survival modes to unlock the endless mode, which is where you can earn the achievement.

yeah i was trying the girders thing earlier, every time i tried it i blow-toarched the wall and then fell right off the girder xP so it never really worked. im sure we'l get it some day
