I think Road maps could be.nut i still think you should have an open ended option , Like say if you hit "Submit your own" it would ask " Select your format" and go from there.
Then again I know from my experience with basic web design and stuff its not like click your fingers and its there, but then again you seem to have that ability, or should i say amount of skill that it looks like you have no real problem with it.

I think the road maps themselves lend themselves to a template... they're pretty much all what Moo-cow posted up there, the difference being the answers for each game...
Lol i know he said he would make guides so i jut used an example.just wanted to show how there could be multiple confirmed guides and all
I did a temp making a guide for that once a year or so back, never really finished though.

The Roadmaps could really go either way. They could all be in one template/formate or you could let everyone get creative which may get a bit overwhelming if people try to get to crazy with them. I feel a template would work better as all information would be placed in the same locations as opposed to everyones unique style of creating a Roadmap. In the end its a trade off, organization versus creativity.

I like the roadmap idea, as that is the only reason I go to X360A, but would love to see it here instead.
If we do that could we change the automatic log out after no activity for a while?
Also, if we do it, go with the template idea, that way it's in the same spot on every roadmap instead of searching for what your looking for.
Also, maybe a warning that roadmaps with copied info needs the link or it will be deleted, to stop peeps from just copy/pasting x360a's guides that people obviously worked hard to do, at least for some of them. lol.

Or give certain members, (Lady Evol Evol, Topdogs Shockwave, Greg.... plenty of old members that could be trusted) the privilege to review the guides but not total admin. And you would have to have at least 2 of those members accept your guide for it to be confirmed.
EDIT: well with the amount of members that could be trused guide reviewers, it may be better just to leave it to an overall vote.

and after 50 reviews and a week, if the majority says yes, then it gets confirmed

What about the terminology? I've been a gamer for a while but I've never heard the term "roadmaps." Was it coined by x360a?
Are roadmaps, walkthroughs and guides all pretty much synonymous? What term should we use?

I've only ever seen them on X360a.org, and I'm sure they wouldn't be too happy if it was a blatant copy of them. Maybe mini-guide would be an appropriate term as well?

So just use the standard phrase of walk through that many sites use. That's what the roadmaps are. Or as stated, coin our own phrase for it.

Is it possible to add a starting gamerscore when you join XbA and a current GS? If so, that would be awesome. I'd love to see how much joining XbA has influenced everyone.

Instead of calling mini-guides roadmaps or anything else that is used by another site how about we call them... Blueprints.
