These are some pictures I got this weekend of the snow that fell here:

Most places around here were closed. There are around 120,000 people without electricity around here. I know Noah and Jen were without electricity for part of the weekend. But there are still a lot without it. People around here panic when this much snow falls.

It sounded like it was wet heavy snow and that is bad. I think alot of plow trucks will need some new tranys after that storm. Was there Ice too? I see the radar and it was white,pink,green over the span of 6-7 states. Luckily all of it was south of Michigan, you guys can have it.

Thankfully there is no ice that I could see. But there must have been some, or some crappy drivers. I was going down the interstate yesterday and saw a car laying on its roof on an on ramp. Plus there were several wrecks around. So it was either ice or bad drivers.

we had power most of the weekend, but we went without cable and internet for almost 2 days. everyone else around here (including my mother-in-law, who lives one street over) lost all power. the result was a house load of people... and me shoveling like a mad man to offer parking, lol. it sucked.

i didn't take any pictures but a tree in my front yard was snapped in half by the weight of the snow. also, some guy i work with has a picture on his phone of a car almost completely on it's side. i guess the owner has it propped up with 2x4s to keep it from rolling into his house.

and we're supposed to get hit again on tuesday night. :no:

Quit being a pussy Noah. You used to live here in Iowa, I know you've seen worse than this. Remember the Blizzard of 96? This year has been really bad here too.
