Monday morning I was driving to work when I noticed a truck parked on the side of the road. Two teens had come out of it to pay respects to a roadside memorial filled with flowers and a few teddy bears. They were crying. No story needed to be told.
This is a common occurrence on a week after a holiday. It sucks to lose somebody before their time, especially at that young age.

Aww, I feel for you on the cat, hell, the relationship as well. Had my fiance tell me that I was just a rebound and nothing more, like why the fuck did you.... okay.... Then, on top of that, a week later she ended up dating someone who looks like a Neo-nazi/skinhead/wal-mart version of me, so I just threw my hands up in confusion and a little anger. Had to move back home as a result, also lost my full-time gig, now working part-time and looking for something more stable.
Also got a new girl, and have been enjoying that. But that is about all the good that has happened, frankly, I say I dodged a bullet with the ex after some time to let things settle.
