So, on March 13, I'm going to my first concert, and I was wondering, what concerts have you guys been to? If there's like 49827423897 then which was your favorite?

I've only been to a few but by far the best ones happened last year. Saw Our Lady Peace over the summer, and then towards the end of summer I saw a band called Man Man....greatest concert ever that one was. Who are you seeing in March?

My favorite concert was the Wicked Wonka tour in Atlanta. Insane Clown Posse was headlining. Kottonmouth Kings was there and Bone thugs N harmony. That was back when I smoked weed, so everything was ten times better when your high, lol. *sigh*

@Durtie, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope oh the times growing up in Detroit. LOL
My personal favorite was DMX, Jay-Z tour but rap concerts are really not that safe to go to.

It sucks cause I've never heard of any of those bands, but I doubt that a lot of people here have heard of Man Man. I hope you have a good time though man.

Wow all you kids...lol. I've seen all kinds of concerts. Pink Floyd, Aerosmith (seen them 3 times), I went to a fun 80s hair band concert with Poison, Ratt, LA Guns and Great White. I've seen Van Halen, REM, REO Speedwagon, Megadeth, White Zombie. I've seen a whole lot of smaller bands that had hits back in the 90s.
I have also seen Skillet in concert, that was a blast.

Lucky sum of a bitch. I used to want to move to Detroit, just cause of the juggalo scene. Not so much anymore. I'm grown distant. But I'll always be a fan, lol.

Well I have seen more than I posted, but I haven't really seen that many big name shows due to either lack of transportation or lack of cash.

I've been to many, many concerts but most of them are underground or local bands. One of my favourite bigger ones was seeing Nine Inch Nails for the first time right after With Teeth came out. I had been listening to Nails since 1993 so it was awesome to finally see them live, and they did this neat thing where for part of the show the stage was surrounded by a mesh curtain and filled with smoke on the inside and images were projected on to the outside, plus there was great lighting.
I've seen Behemoth twice and they are probably my absolute favourite metal band to see in concert. The first time was at a mid-sized outdoor venue I really like in Austin, and it was great because Keep of Kalessin opened and Dimmu Borgir were the headliners so I enjoyed all 3 a lot. I met up with a friend of mine there who had just got back from taking 2 of the guys from Dimmu out to IHOP for pancakes.
The second time I saw Behemoth was at a hole-in-the-wall place here in Houston but it was an even better show because the sound guy was on top of his game, you could hear everything perfectly. Gojira was one of the openers and they were excellent. At the bar, some hot cougar lady paid for my double shot cause she thought I was the guitarist for Behemoth, heh. After the show I went out back and smoked with the guys from Job for a Cowboy and then the guys from Behemoth came out and invited our little crowd on to their bus. We passed around a big bottle of Jagermeister, and the band hooked up an mp3 player to the sound system so we all yelled out the lyrics to Fergie's "London Bridges" in our best metal growls. Some drunk groupie chick even started playing with my hair cause she thought I was in the band too.
My other favourite time was when I saw Finntroll here in Houston. If you haven't heard them, they play an awesome, crazy mix of metal and 'humppa' which is Finnish polka music. Anyway, after the show there was a little crowd of us out back. We hung out with the band and smoked and joked around, and I ended up getting the numbers of 4 awesome girls that all play Halo and like metal. That was great!
