I finally finished that tonight. I really enjoyed it and thought it was a fantastic conclusion to the trilogy. I'm taking a break from the fantasy to read four Chuck Palahniuk novels I haven't read yet that my bro gave me for my b-day last month. Gonna start with:

That was a quick read and I'm glad I'm done with it because it actually kinda sucked. It now joins Haunted on the short list of my least favorite Palahniuk novels. I'm now gonna start Rant.

After I finished THG I looked for books similar to it. People told me to read "Enclave" (Razorland series).... that shit sucked... lol. I wont be reading the next books.
Right now im reading The Glass Castle: A Memoir by Jeanette Walls. I really like it so far. Her family and life stories are pretty wild.

Dude! Read Battle Royale: http://www.amazon.com/Battle-Royale-Koushun-Takami/dp/156931778X
It is an awesome story and VERY similar to hunger games except a bit less sci-fi/fantasy and a lot more anime-influenced.

I forgot to post about the most recent stop on my Summer Palahniuk Tour. I finished Tell-All tonight. It took a while to get into and the ending was a bit predictable but the narrative style was unique and it's a quick read. My previous stop, Rant, was an amazing read and it joins Fight Club and Survivor in my Top 3 Palahniuk novels. The next stop on my tour is his newest novel - Damned and future stops include Lullaby, Invisible Monsters and Diary.

On to the next stop of my Palahniuk Summer Tour. I finished Damned tonight and really enjoyed it. It's probably the best novel he's written since Rant. I'm now starting Lullaby and have only Invisible Monsters and Diary left to go.

The last book in the Fate of the Jedi series. I'm about half way through it and it's pretty good so far.
