I liked it but there really wasn't anything that made it stand out. Marky Mark puts in an OK performance and Kate Beckinsale was just eye candy. The only noteworthy performance was from Giovanni Ribisi. That guy was born to play the dirtbag role.

Green Lantern- 7/10, I didn't think it was as bad as everyone was saying and was definitely better than what I expected, I've never followed or cared for the Green Lantern though so I'm not sure how close the movie was to the actual comics and all that.

Cabin in the Woods - 6/10 Not bad, definitely an interesting concept. Chris Hemsworth is looking so young I didn't even recognize him at first, which goes to show just how long this movie sat on the shelf. Not terrible, and I appreciate the totally different take on horror movies, I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I wood.
Battleship - 8/10 Pleasantly surprised by this one. With Liam Neeson and Alexander Skarsgard, you can't lose! Definitely better than I expected, worth at least a rental when it comes out if you're any kind of sci-fi fan.

My wife told me I could take her to either go see this, or Magic Mike. Needless to say we were going to see this and now after reading that, you have put a little enthusiasm in me about seeing it.
I saw Prometheus this past Saturday. I really enjoyed it, I saw it in 3D and at some points you forget your watching 3D until you notice some of the subtle instances like you would have when seeing Avatar (if that makes sense to you guys) But the ending was a bit blah, I enjoyed it still but...blah. The last ALIEN scene is what got my attention though, pretty friggin awesome
