'The Watchmen' like most Alan Moore works is a character driven story, the action is merely juxtaposed within the dialogue scenes.

Yes, they changed a few things and left some other shit out but I've grown to expect that from any movie these days based a novel or comic. It's still a really good flick. I only heard just recently that they're making the 7th and final book into two movies so this shouldn't be as big an issue.

I really dug Watchmen. Just watched it the other night for the first time. This is the first movie based on a graphic novel that I'm actually interested in reading said graphic novel. The only graphic novel I've ever read is the first 3 volumes of Neil Gaman's The Sandman.

@topdogs I saw watchmen and I didn't think it was good but I don't know the history behind it
I thought harry potter was amusing, it had a lot of humor in it.. personally I've learned to realize that the books will always be better than the movies so never set your expectations high

I just saw "The Hurt Locker" and it was a very good movie, but not what I expected. I'd give it a 8.5/10 if you like war movies.
