NiGHTS into Dreams Confirmed for XBLA

The rumor mill was working yesterday, due to a teaser image posted on Sega's Facebook page earlier this week. It seems that speculation was correct, as the flagship title of the SEGA Saturn, NiGHTS into Dreams will be making its way to the XBLA. Announced today, in celebration of the game's sixteen year anniversary, the reiteration will be in HD and feature leaderboard support, achievements, and even a Saturn Mode, which will allow longtime fans to play the original version.
The remake will hit the Xbox Live Arcade this Fall, though no official date has been given. Now, if you are as old as I am, then take a trip back to your younger years with the announcement trailer:
“The SEGA Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and NiGHTS into dreams… stands out as one of the most recognisable titles that found a home on the system,” said SEGA's Digital Business VP Chris Olson. “We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this fall.”
