Its basically the same game; the achievements stack with Gears on the 360, but the only difference is that there is an additional Act in the Campaign exclusive to the PC version featuring the Brumak, and multiplayer had a few PC-exclusive maps, all of which were included with Gears 2. I suppose you could think of Gears on the PC as Gears of War 1.5.

1. I'm tired of hearing people bitch about judgement coming out to soon. Its not coming out till late next year so that's 2 years after gears 3 just like gears 2 after gears 1
2. I'm stupid excited for this game can't get enough of gears & ill be buying it day one at midnight. My only question is will the class based system be all multiplayer or just spacific to the new over run mode.....but I guess we'll find out soon enough

From what I saw in the video it sounded like the class based approach will just be in overrun which is like a new take on horde/beast mode with objectives and such, could be cool if it's balanced, most of the time shit like this isn't right out of the box though

I agree on both counts!
And even if the class stuff does take over all the MP of this title, I am sure Gears 3's community will stay strong a good while longer.
Really, the only way it could be bad is if Epic shits the bed and overloads the $DLC even to purchasers of the initial game. Kind of like what Crapcom is doing to every one of its franchises.

that's what I got out of it too. That the classes will only be in the co-op side of MP. And Overrun sounds like it'll be pretty sweet. It sort of reminds me of the game type in Reach where the Covenant had to take over the 3 areas and then deliver the the bomb or something to another place. For some reason, I can't remember the name of it at this moment but it was really fun.
I would like to see Horde 3.0 have the classes and the fortifications built into it as Horde is my favorite mode to play in Gears 3.

I'm sure they started working on this before Gears of War 3 was officially released.
