Doom 3 BFG Edition priced and dated!!

Ah yes, PC gamers are having flashbacks and it's good! Doom 3 BFG Edition has been priced at $39.99 and is due out in the US on October 16th.
What all is in this "definitive collection?" It will include both Doom and Doom 2: Hell on Earth, good for people who didn't already buy them through Xbox Live Arcade. It also will include remastered versions of Doom 3 and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, complete with 3D capability, improved sound and lighting, achievements, a new checkpoint save system, and an armor mounted flashlight. The BFG collection also features seven new levels of content called "The Lost Mission," which boast the same features as the remastered Doom 3.
Not a bad collection for those gamers who first played Doom on the PC and want to take a trip down memory lane, or for those too young to have experienced one of the games that started the PC gaming craze!
